Speaker 1:

Okay. Binges, summer slash three is here summer slash it's like a whole horror movie event thing. And I'm trying to explain it to the uninitiated, what it is exactly. You know what, forget that. Let me share something with you.

Speaker 2:

The binge Watchers are going back to him. That's right. It's summer slash three for 12 weeks. So we instructed with her eyes peeled open. Your review will be tormented by the 12th video. I'm slash three scream, scream, scream.

Speaker 1:

Nice. My initial thoughts are that's too scary. If I, if I play that at the opening, the audience is going to be like, I'm not even going to listen to this podcast. It's too terrifying. It was my initial thoughts on releasing that trailer to the world. What do you guys?

Speaker 3:

I was scared. I thought it was very intense.

Speaker 4:

There's some leprechaun there. I'm of the mind. If you're downloading the show, you kind of know what it is summer slash Jerry,

Speaker 1:

And it is amazing. Actually it is back and just what we thought it was safe to like listen to podcasts again, here comes summer slash, but really before we get started with all the mayhem, I do have to preview a show from our friends at Roma femme. So let me just see what they're up to, and then I'm going to play this preview for the audience. So orphan black, the next chapter, starting Emmy award-winning actress, Tatiana Maslany Romans presenting an official continuation of the hit TV series. Orphan black. It's been eight years since product Lido destroyed was this short for good, but a dangerous internet technology is stolen and an unknown clone appears so Cosima and the other clones are forced to struggle to survive. Now, when we play this trailer for you and officially, I would say my review is if you love from black, you're going to love this. So take a look at this. Take a listen. If you can't watch, you can listen. Here we go.

Speaker 2:

Vivi Valdez popped a gummy bear into her mouth. As she settled in for her fourth evening of low key surveillance, she had planted a bug in the office of Dr. Nathaniel Sturgis director of research and gotten the hell out. Uh, leave me, Dr. Niehaus nothings for a scientific advancement, like a clear and present threat. The past quietly behind her glancing up for a glimpse of new houses profile, which he saw startled her so much that she missed up her eyes like babies. If he wore that much eyeliner her nose, like they, these, if hers hadn't been broken that time in Bukara her mouth, the same, her ears, the same. You're not consuming the house. You're one of them. Aren't you? The blood likely belonged to Dr. Nathaniel Sturgis director of research. The only person reportedly in the building at the time of the explosion. Well, Sturgis is dead because Hema said, and also they think I did it. So I'm under arrest. How many of them were there? She could by that they were quadruplets, but that didn't explain why Vivi resembled them. Could they all be related? Somehow if they arrest you for the attack, I'll only be able to profile, not an international spy by revealing that I'm a club, which I want is to free my wife. Delfin hist your sister, your own flesh and blood. You have to understand people don't feel safe. If there are human clones running around in secret, what else have scientists done to our food, our water, and are these human photocopies breeding with natural normal people. We won't rest until the government and authorities have heard us and taken the appropriate steps toward making sure these women aren't a threat bloods will be spilled. We we're under attack. It's not a secret anymore. You don't know who did it or what will happen next? Tell me, he'll say, and I'll leave you alone. Please. Round presents, orphan black. The next chapter, starring Tatyana on the Lonnie. If you like, what you hear, please follow and share this podcast with your friends. Realm is your portal to another world. Listen away.

Speaker 1:

I am going to share it with my friends. You can learn more@realm.fm and be sure to listen and subscribe to or from black. The next chapter, wherever you get your podcasts. And Dave likes to laugh at the most awkward moments. Was that you Dave, did you scuffle while I was doing that? Was that, was that a, was that a snort from Dave? Generally? I mute these guys when I tell you about them. It was that it was that noise

Speaker 3:

You just made right now. Oh my gosh. All right. All

Speaker 1:

Right. Okay. So where are we? Oh, here we are. It's our show now. All right. Woo

Speaker 2:

Wine. Oh, pull something cold on ice because it's the bench watches.

Speaker 1:

I've played three clips now. Right? So you know what? It feels like. It feels like a YouTube video with unskippable ads. That's how I felt three in a row. It's horror movie headlines. No other news matters. The whole world could be on fire. We wouldn't care. We're already inhaled because it's summer slash we're only care about horror movie headlines. So, uh, oh, wait, I forgot to tell Nick how we did this. How we did this last week was I'm going to drop a headline comment if you would, in your order that you would care to comment in and uh, just keep it tight and you'd bang, bang. Boom. So first up folks is we heard that evil, that rise is being produced and released now, but HBO, max and Bruce Campbell is attached as a producer. Still don't know if Ash is going to show up.

Speaker 3:

I I'm excited to see it. I want to see it. And HBO, max is the perfect platform to release it.

Speaker 4:

My understanding is it is going to be a continuation of the original series. So we might get asked back. I hope not, not the remit.

Speaker 1:

It's your cat, still in the room with you, Dave. I mean, all right. Who's purring. Exactly. Dave's pairing. It's not the cat. It's David. All right. Uh, so excited for evil dead. The, uh, the Hellraiser remake is going to Hulu. The film, not the series. It's Clive Barker is doing his show, but this is the, the other people, the other group that got the rights just to remake the movie. Um, I think it's gonna do well on Hulu. Who does well with forming was in general.

Speaker 3:

So I think it's going to be all right. Do we know who's directing it

Speaker 1:

By the way? Uh, yeah. We, who do we pin on this one? I forgot who do Hulu. Hulu. You put me on the spot, but I think that's why it's one of the directors you like, I think it's like one of the horror anthology guys. Um, okay. And was that on a short

Speaker 4:

Radio silence guys? Is it, we can circle back to that. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I don't know. I'll look at that. It's a development headline. We'll tell them next week. We'll have to do a course correction and we'll let them figure that out. Um, they're just headlines. It's literally a clickbait. Okay. So the garbage pail kids are getting animated by Danny McBride. I know Davidson in for this one.

Speaker 4:

Um, I mean maybe, uh, you know, um, I don't know. They haven't had a very good success with, uh, jumping onto the big screen or the small screen. So I don't know. Well, we'll see. It just seems like a weird pairing man. Like when you showed me Gordon green and I'm the only one who loves Gardenville kids, it's just, it just seems like a weird thing to resurrect, but I'll, I'll be down to watch it. I just, are they going to aim more adult? Are they going to go more? Kitty is what I'm kind of curious about. I think they should go more

Speaker 1:

Adult, right? They have to go adult images. The images are intense. Yeah. Yeah. The, the guts falling out. I don't think that even have you not seen the garbage kids' movie? It's pretty crazy. My only comment would be, I don't think Danny McBride is capable of making something for children. So it's probably going to be geared towards at least PG 13, um, is true. Then I wanted to add real quickly, cause it already has 80% on rotten tomatoes, even though it's not out yet. I figured that one out on June 4th, this is like a day after this podcast gets released. The conjuring, the devil made me do it, which is the conjuring three, right? Part three that comes out. That's going to come out after this episode drops a day later. Um, it's because there's a bunch of scary sequels on the way crawl to, if you saw crawl with the lovely girl. Yeah. The young lady and her dad trapped in their house as a S uh, for hurricanes. Yeah. It's like a hurricane flooding the city and they're trapped in a house with a couple of alligators that want to eat them. And then, uh, don't breathe. There's a slasher film with Stephen Lang called don't breathe where he's like a blind maniac. They're making SQL to that. That's on its way. There's your horror movie, Roundup really excited. I'm down for some crawls really, really love crawl

Speaker 4:

And don't breathe. So I mean, as long as they have there's good. I hope they give them to the same directors or at least somebody who knows what they're doing, because those have very distinctive styles and tones. So

Speaker 3:

Bring the Turkey her back, or what was that from? Don't breathe.

Speaker 1:

Um, and before we revert to our main feature, we do have some, uh, before tonight's feature presentation, we do have some messages from our affiliates and sponsors. We've got to get through. So we're headed off to some messages. We'll be right back after these messages from our buddies, but I'm looking for something to change the screen. So if you're watching this, instead of listening, you can actually see what we're talking about and I've misplaced them. So I'm just going to keep talking until I find them. It'll be awkward for a second and then I'll find it and we can move on. All right. Now we'll be back after these messages. Boom. All right. And it's not working, so that's awesome. Even more, even more awesome. This is very awesome. I like it. Oh, there we go. Just random clicking sounds. Okay. Yeah. Oh yeah. It's great. Good podcast. Forget it. So anyway, there's a bunch of homes without stars right now. And if you want a free trial of that, you can get it free for seven days. The most recent thing that I saw on there, the new, the newest, newest evil that is on there. Uh, the one with what I like to call the female Ash, that's my nickname for her. It's pretty gruesome. It's as good as the original evil. In my opinion, you can go check that out. Also, the craft too was on there. What else did I see that was on there? A whole lot of stuff, check it out. Seven days free on stars. Uh, voodoo is a new partnership with us. And what they've been doing is hooking people up. If you don't have an account for the first week in June, I think they're letting you set up a rental or a purchase for like 30% off with our link. And, um, they also have like this awesome horror movie sale, three for$12 right now I picked up, uh, let's see the original Donna D no designer that remake and the original resonate, evil movies. I got those on a twofer deal. And then on my three for deal, I went ahead and picked up a silver bullet, the Crow. And, uh, I like this movie Hansel and Gretel, which hunters, it's like an action horror movie with, um, they got rid of Hawkeye. Yeah. So I got that to pick that up. So check that out and you can follow our voodoo link. Oh, music in the background or something. Um, go to the voodoo link and check that out. Wait, I need them in the breeding. Things offers from, from our sponsors stuff always happens in the background. Okay. What's going on with acorn TV? Well, TV has been a saving grace for most of us. I found this a show called love joy, which actually it describes the main character as the James Bond of antique dealers. I didn't realize there was crime solving involved with antiques or that there was even a lot of crime associated with antiquey, but it's got Ian McShane. You might remember him from Deadwood, John wick, Hellboy, or, uh, the Hercules that had the rock. And anyway, he's an antique dealer and solves mysteries and gets into all kinds of scandals. So check that out. Love joy, uh, 30 days free on, uh, the old acorn TV there. And now back to our feature presentation already in progress with tonight's movie, I'll get the boys back on the line here. Tonight's movie is called deer skin. It's billed as a French comedy thriller for the first week in summer slash we thought we would bring this up on the show. What is it about? Dude's obsessed with a deerskin jacket, his obsession. It turns their murder and then all hell breaks loose. Dave, do you have any trivia or stories about movie? I do.

Speaker 4:

Um, so the director and it probably screw this up Quintin depo. I'm going to guess it's French. Uh he's actually, he started his career as Dubai, Dubai. Alright. Uh, he was actually also a DJ and musician by the name of Mr.[inaudible] if I'm saying that. Right. So like he got his career actually as a DJ. Um, so he'd seems to have a lot of, uh, themes throughout his movie, usually film as a subject, um, besides, uh deerskin, which we'll get into a rubber, the killer tire movie is about the act of watching movies and he has another movie called reality. Wow. Yes he did. Um, and he's got another movie reality, which is about a producer agreeing to finance a movie for a director, but only if he can get the audio of the best grown in the world worthy of an Oscar. I haven't watched this movie, but I might after deerskin and knowing rubber, um, the, the DRA or the, excuse me, the main actor, gene do John Jane do Jaren. I'm probably do Jardin screwing that he's actually the only the first and only so far French actor to win an Oscar for best actor. And he's actually the only the second actor to ever win for a silent performance. I mean, unless you count the one thing he says at the end, but, um, so he's got two distinctions of being the only French actor and the only the second, uh, silent performance. So yeah, not a whole lot about the movie itself. Unfortunately, not a lot of production notes. It's all good. But

Speaker 1:

Let's just jump right into to favorite kills. This whole whole run is all about murder and mayhem. Actually, this movie is a little bit of a yeah. Yeah. Mine's not going to go from moment to moment, honestly. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

The look and the feel, it feels almost documentary. Like

Speaker 1:

At times you can trick someone that doesn't know this has any horror elements in it, into watching this movie and for like an hour, they're going to be like, well, this is a good movie. Then the horror movie threw out like, yeah, no, but I'm saying no, no, no, no. Because the movie queues you up within like the first two minutes of the movie, like, you know, something's going to be, you know, something weird is going to happen. You don't know how horrific it's going to be, but something's definitely twisted in this movie, you know? Right. I think you'd get that feeling right away. It sets you up. Well, I think I was going to tell you, Nick was going to tell him, you guys were like, you guys are like, step it up. Oh no. My mind was when he here, I'm here.

Speaker 3:

When he threw the rock at the kid. I just, that was great. Sorry. That's a flash for me. Let's let's admit it. Come on. That was great. Oh

Speaker 1:

Man. Okay. So the concept for summer slashes, instead of talking about our favorite, it's the favorite kill the movie. The kid doesn't die,

Speaker 3:

But I thought it was better than any kill. I was laughing like, wow.

Speaker 1:

So far it sounds like the movie sucks. I don't know that the kid didn't die and yeah, well, honestly you want me to throw it out right now? Spoiler alert. The kid doesn't die because he kills the main character at the end of the movie with his dad. They shoot him. No, no, no. The kid isn't involved in that, that what you're seeing is the kid's twin brother that also got hit in the head with a rock by another person that they're a rock on his head. Just throwing that out there, Dave

Speaker 4:

One that you don't get to see on screen, but the, um, the, the hotel clerks shooting themselves like that scene with him, uh, getting the ring from the dead body, like just, uh, it shows how off the wall this movie is. It just goes in places you don't expect and is that's unnecessary except in this world. Um, that's just the movie kind of in a nutshell. Well,

Speaker 1:

He'd run out of money by that point. So it didn't he go get the ring to pawn it off? Is that what happened?

Speaker 4:

Because the new hotel clerk or the owner didn't know of the arrangement he made with him. So he just went and got his ring back from and then, uh, gave it to the new and took a new Deere hat.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. That is such a creepy scene. I got it fully full on when I watched the movie a second time. So creepy.

Speaker 4:

I don't know, Adam, what was your favorite slash

Speaker 1:

Kill? Okay. The best in the whole, I replaced the word slash with the word kill because the audience is not going to be up, up, up to par with the word slash they're not going to be like, what do you mean? So just your favorite kill of the movie question slash comma kill. Oh my God. Switch to kill. So nomenclatures. Okay. My favorite is he's in his car. He's just finished some kills. Uh, the girl's like, Hey, uh, can I get some directions? And he's like, oh yeah, I've got some directions for you. And he goes over to the car and he just plunges it through the top of the car. And she's like stuck there. And then the, the, the it's running, uh, that was the best scale for me in the whole movie. Oh my gosh. All right. I'm going to piggyback off that because the woman bystander in the car that happens to come by while he's murdering somebody else. That's my favorite kill in the movie because it's so sad and tragic. She doesn't deserve it. Well, no one really deserves to die in this movie, but his obsession goes past the point of murder. And he's like killing people left and right. But Adam didn't mention that there was a ceiling fan machete, a homemade weapon. That was cool. Pick a blade out of the ceiling fan in his hotel room and turned it into a machete. So that alone, that alone is the, to watch the movie. And I'll go ahead. I'll break the order since this is like a night of breaking the rotation. It's a scream now for me, it's a scream now for me too. I really like it. I mean,

Speaker 4:

What other movies is going to have a talking jacket, telling you to get everybody, to throw away their jackets. So, yeah. Scream now

Speaker 1:

Scream now because the jacket even talks when he's not even conscious. So the jacket is a real character. I also love how the setup tells you right away that you're in for a ride. Like I said, the music cues are really off in the beginning. And you think, you think at first when you watch it need you to watch it a couple of times. Cause like I didn't notice this the first time is like, he's not adjusting his mirrors in the car. He's looking at his jacket that he's obsessed with getting rid of. He doesn't like his original jacket. That's what he's looking at the whole time. Any Betty drowns it in the restroom and then the movie. So like it's a little slow. So if the audience can stick out for the first, like two minutes, three minutes, they'll get to watch the whole movie. But you got to get to the part where he's drowning the jacket to really, really get involved. Um, now let's see what our fans are saying. Uh, Sam 15, that sounds like a made up name. It's an online name, obviously some kind of user handle out there. Sam 15 wants to know if we like Freddy's dead more than new nightmare. But by the way, I just want to say before we answer your question, Sam 15 or Sammy boy, whoever you are, or if you're a girl, I don't know if Sam could be or, or different one, I guess it's a universal name now, whatever you are saying. Yeah. Whoever them them is. She, he them, what's it what's the other ones out there. Unicorn

Speaker 4:

Whoever they, whoever

Speaker 1:

You are, Sam, uh, if you send us your horror movie recommendations, you have a chance to win some horror movie collector's items. We might do like a year of shutter free and we have a bunch of box sets. Um, since you want to know that they're real. Look, I'll hold up one right here. This is the 1976 king Kong with Jeff Bridges. Oh, out of print, depending on who you talk to, if you go to Dave and say, he's got a few to sell out of the back of his car, um, you're still doing that dude. Yeah. All right. So let's, let's, let's do the order. We'll go, Nick, Dave, Adam, and then me we'll uh, do we like Freddy's dead, which is, I think the sixth nightmare as opposed to new nightmare, which has rebooted the whole mythology from the beginning. But by the same director is still a west Craven movie. But, um, Nick, do you like, Freddy's dead more than you like new nightmare? No,

Speaker 3:

I love new nightmare. I think it started at fresh and I think by Freddy's dead, if the stories, everything got crazy. So yeah. I'll pick new nightmare any day over Freddy's

Speaker 1:

Dead. Hmm.

Speaker 4:

I'm going to go against you, Nick. I'm going to actually say Freddy's done. Yes. I know it's known as one of the most fun ones and I'm sorry. I think new nightmare is an interesting idea and concept, but it just wasn't solid in the execution. Oh, totally. No, I, I know I'm I'm in the minority here, but I actually, if you're going to ask me to which one I'm going to throw on, that'd be Freddy's dead. I mean, it has Nintendo killer Nintendo. Oh,

Speaker 3:

Wow. Wow. That was his. That was his reason for liking it. Oh wow. Well that invitation was really good. Okay.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was pretty good. Um, I'm just going to abstain because you know, I haven't seen these films or you haven't watched either. I haven't seen any breaking news.

Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. Okay. I mean, feel free to add on me. No, no, I'm not ragging. That's cool.

Speaker 1:

Wow. Okay. So for the uninitiated again, this is all about horror movies. So in Freddy's dead, we find out that Freddy had a daughter and it's more of a comedy. And as Dave said, there's a power of love that kills people. Cause Freddy, he puts some people into a video game and then a new nightmare brings Freddy into our reality as if he was a real force of nature. And it actually starts to possess the actors and there's accidents on the set of the next Friday movie in universe. Ready. So it actually affects the actors like John Saxon and Heather Mellon. What is her name? Heather. Heather,

Speaker 3:

Heather Linnaean

Speaker 1:

Camp. And uh, and um, jeez Robert England. So it actually, and west Craven's plays himself too. So that's yeah, exactly. So if someone wants you to nightmare and see like the people from Freddie nightmares actually interacting in real, like our world is kind of, but, but I I'm going to default. I'm going to go for these dead over new nightmare anyway. So,

Speaker 3:

Wow. Wow. I can I say one thing I did see Freddy's dead in the theater and the 3d part was really good. I

Speaker 4:

Got to see a 3d. I was

Speaker 3:

In sixth grade. I was in sixth grade and they had

Speaker 1:

The 3d glasses. Tell them how old you are on this. I know. That's all good. What is the last many times were in sixth grade. He's still in singing, like Logan's run. Um, okay. So now we're into our scary picks. Usually we do like a staff pick, but since we're doing scary movies all summer long, cause it's summer slash I have not even, I'm not even enthusiastic at this point. I'm like, it. Okay. So, uh, our scary picks. If you need something to scare the out of you this week, we have some recommendations for you. Let's see what Nikki can recommend. I'm going to go

Speaker 3:

With, uh, event horizon. I recently watched that. I think it still holds up. It is a scary space, horror movie, like a haunted house movie in space and the effects still Sam Neill is at the top of his game or his Fishburn is young. I love it. And I think what is it? Paul Anderson? I think this is like one of the few movies besides like this moral combat that he really was at the top of his game after. I mean the resident stuff I kind of was like, whatever, but I love, I love, I would recommend event horizon.

Speaker 1:

It's a good movie. Yeah. It is a good movie in the movie theater. You need to, how old were you? What grade were you in? He was in kindergarten, first grade. Boom. I wasn't in school yet. Wow. Give me that grit. You got say you saw it on a rerelease recently. Oh, there we go. There you go. Dave said he watched a horror movie that he doesn't even like it. Now he has to recommend it to everyone. So, you know,

Speaker 4:

No, this is the beauty of just watch or not just watched, but um, the, the app, you know, the app that I letterbox, cause I don't want to recommend a movie, a horror movie I watched that was bad. So I will recommend I rewatched, uh, the remake of Donna, the dad recently, and that still holds up a much better army of the dead. Uh don't waste your time. Hey, John even said he just bought it on the voodoo cell. So why not? Uh, you know, if you haven't seen the remake, go check that out. First movie with the zombie baby that I can remember. No,

Speaker 3:

No dude alive, dead alive. Oh

Speaker 4:

Man. Like what do you think

Speaker 1:

That's where Snyder stole the joke from, come on. I feel ashamed. So they've not even gonna mention the movie that I was mentioning. He told us about a completely different movie before we started the show

Speaker 4:

Because it gives, again, I don't want to recommend like, if were to say, like, go watch these movies. I'm not going to okay. Look. It was the unholy. It's a new horror movie. It's it's has a ha is half of a good movie. There's some interesting ideas, but it the bed with really bad CGI and some other ridiculous stuff. So. All right. Watch half of it.

Speaker 1:

I don't know Adam. So I have like, uh, two different ones. Uh, one is, uh, Lisa and the devil. I was appraising, um, shutter and I found this old movie with, uh, telly Savalas as the devil, which that alone is a reason to watch the movie. What is it called? It's called Lisa and the devil. It's an old Mario Bava movie and there Mario Bava, uh, collection. And it's like early seventies. And uh, it's got telly Savalas is a, you know, a devil as a puppet maker. He's carrying around. They, they keep planning.

Speaker 4:

Hold on. What devils a puck. Um, I'm in, tell

Speaker 1:

Me he's got like a life size puppet. That's a man that has died. Right?

Speaker 3:

What's his name? Kelly.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Terry telly. Savalas he's a famous bald dude. And he's accurate. I'm trying to remember who this guy is. He played a famous, he played a famous cop in a show. Kojak yeah, yeah. Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

He was a bond in once. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. He was in, yeah. Got it. Gotcha. The interchanges

Speaker 1:

In the movie, like where he's like, Hey, can I get a drag off of that cigarette? Can I get a SIG? And he gets a cigarette, but he's not allowed to have a cigarette. And then he, he, he like tosses the cigarette and then he pulls out a lollipop and he's like spinning it. Like pretending like he's been. Does he use any lollipops? Yes. Yes. Wow. They must've been like really a mechanism thing. Well, Brad Pitt eats in every movie. He wants to eat in every scene and it keeps him on track. So maybe carry some wallets. Yeah. That's it. Um, well I did that. If you wanted to hear my time for two, you're talking so much, anybody else, a chance to say something, but you brought up, you brought up shutter, which opens the door to a side discussion here before I get to my, uh, scary pick of the week. Um, I, and I were discussing the shutter code because our shoulder promo code, if you go to shutter, you can get 30 days free. And guess what? Our code binge watcher still works. And they're all about horror movies. And we're talking about horror movies all summer. So it made sense to bring them up. But then he, but he's like, we're not getting any shutter from them, which is true. They're not sharing any of that good cheese with us this year. So we can't make a pizza unless they pay us for the pizza. So to buy the ingredients. So if that makes it, if that metaphor tracks at all, I don't know. But he, but Adam makes a good point. Like, don't talk about something unless it's a partner up situation, you know? Um, anyway, but they like movies on YouTube then. No, no, you already said, he's thought I'm shorter. Which made it even funnier. So lately I've been like complaining that you can't find certain vampire movies because they're not available on VHS. They're not available on DVD. They're not streaming anywhere. I found one of the ones that I brought up on the show before I found blood and donuts, which is a Canadian vampire movie. Um, I think early nineties, it's one of these rare movies that like had disappeared on videotape. You can't get anywhere. I didn't know this. It wouldn't genie awards. The genie award is apparently a Canadian Oscar. I didn't, I didn't know they existed, but it wasn't two of them, one for writing and one for like costumes or something. But the main guy who plays the vampire, whose name is[inaudible]. He is one of the dudes from Friday the 13th part eight. He's the blonde surfer guy that gets like thrown on the railing and impale. Okay. Well these are his two big roles. He was in blood and donuts is the vampire dude. And then he got killed in front of 13th, eight. He's also in like a Christian movie where he plays like the anti-Christ left, left behind movies or whatever. But, um, David Cronenberg, it plays the crime boss in the movie that goes up against the vampire. So yeah. Blended donuts. Um,

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so, so, uh, Hey, uh, what are the coming key? Creepy attractions.

Speaker 1:

Uh, let's see, what are we doing next week? This is the only time that Adam and Nick will be able to write down what we're doing for the next, uh, it'll be week two of summer slash three, our third year out with these horror movies. But what we're going to do next week, we're going to get a little, a little dirty, a little disgusting. We're gonna get a little greasy. Cause we're going to watch the greasy strangler.

Speaker 3:

I haven't even heard this.[inaudible]

Speaker 1:

It's a real treat. And if you're a fan of blood diner, like Adam is you're going to love him. You know what? That was

Speaker 3:

The first thing that came to mind. Was this a guy who works at like a restaurant greasy? I'm assuming, okay. No, they don't work. This is not a spoiler,

Speaker 4:

But you will say artists a ton after seeing this movie.

Speaker 3:

Oh wow. That's a great movie. Now,

Speaker 1:

Dave, you have to give people the background. Otherwise they don't know what you're talking about. They don't know what you're strangling to find out next week. All right, everybody watch

Speaker 4:

It. And then you'll, you know, I don't know. We'll be single artists all week. Yeah, no, I like it. I like

Speaker 1:

It. I'm excited about it. It's so good. It's so good. All right. So join us for week two of summer slash with the greasy strangler. And by the way, last year, we kicked it off with a scream series and our predictions for screams five, which is now just called screen. Because now that I'm saying it's not even a fifth, whatever that means. Anyway, check out our classic episode of summer slash I'll leave a link in the description, but you know what? If you miss that over in black trailers in the beginning, we're going to go ahead and give you another chance to see what they want from black. The next chapter is about go ahead and queue up the trailer for you.

Speaker 2:

50 Valdez popped a gummy bear into her mouth. As she settled in for her fourth evening of low key surveillance, she had planted a bug in the office of Dr. Nathaniel Sturgis director of research and gotten the hell out. Believe me, Dr. Niehaus nothings for a scientific advancement, like a clear and present threat. The, the passed quietly behind her glancing up for a glimpse of new houses profile, which he saw startled her so much that she missed up her eyes like babies. If Vivi wore that much eyeliner her nose like these, if hers hadn't been broken that time in Bukara her mouth, the same, her ears, the same. Somehow if they arrest you for the attack, I'll only be able to provide. I'm not an international spy by revealing that I'm a cloud what's I want is to free my wife. Delfin hissed your sister, your own flesh and blood. You have to understand people don't feel safe. If there are human clones running around in secret, what else have scientists done to our food, our water, and are these human photocopies breeding with natural normal people. We have all rest until the government and authorities have heard us and taken the appropriate steps toward making sure these women aren't a threat. Blood will be spilled. We were under attack. It's not a secret anymore. You don't know who did it or what will happen next. Totally. You'll see. And I'll leave you alone. Please. Round presents, orphan black. The next chapter, starring Tatiana Maslany. If you like, what you hear, please follow and share this podcast with your friends. Realm is your portal to another world. Listen away

Speaker 1:
